Αγαπητέ Κοσμά, πρόκειται για μια από εκείνες τις «Αμερικάνικες» υπερβολές. Αυτό που θα πάθει κανείς αν σηκωθεί απότομα από τον ύπνο είναι να λιποθυμήσει (και ενδεχομένως να χτυπήσει πέφτοντας). Από την υποτασική λιποθυμία ως το εγκεφαλικό και τον αιφνίδιο θάνατο η απόσταση είναι μεγάλη. Αυτοί που πεθαίνουν ξαφνικά τη νύχτα συνήθως πεθαίνουν στο κρεβάτι τους και όχι δίπλα σ’ αυτό. Σαφώς και πρέπει να προσέχουμε πώς σηκωνόμαστε, όσο προχωρεί και η ηλικία μας, αλλά δεν θα αποφύγουμε το μοιραίο αν πίνουμε ένα ποτήρι νερό προ του ύπνου (αντίθετα, θα έχουμε περισσότερη ανάγκη να σηκωθούμε τη νύχτα…).
